  Horrible. I was in New Orleans for my friend's bachelorette party and we had a horrible experience. I'll never come back. The door guy allowed the bride to walk in without an ID. As I was following her into the bar, he grabbed me, pulled me back, and insisted on an ID. I don't mind showing my ID so as I did he looked for a few seconds and claimed it was a fake and I was underage. As I'm 24 and not underage, I offered to read my driver's license to him but he refused. After that he allowed strangers coming out of the bar to call my party and I fat cows. He even laughed as they went on. At last, the bride attempted to speak to the manager to find some resolution. He didn't listen to her and brushed her off but did allow us entry. Poorly managed, unprofessional employees, and overpriced drinks for being treated as a second-class citizen. AVOID THIS BAR. Not worth spending your money here.

  This place has a fantastic history and for that alone you should go. The food is good, but there are so many places in New Orleans serving up better food it is hard to give Antoine's a great rating. In another city, they would probably hit it out of the park. They are still old school cool and I think everyone should go at least once and get the tour. And the food is good, don't get me wrong.. you won't be unhappy you are here.
