  had a wonderful meal at August. from service to food everything was excellent. started with potato gnocchi as the app. very good. main was "breaded" flounder. absolutely amazing and so rich. after desert they present you with a plate of mini pralines & macaroon. the only thing that could have made it better was if Chef Besh showed up.

  The service was wonderful. They were attentive, kind and polite. The food was really good and came out in a timely fashion. The owner comes to say to each table and was delightful! There is local art all over the walls that she has collected over the years. The bathroom needs a renovation is the only recommendation.

  I came in with high expectations which were not met. My biggest complaint was the service. My friends and I look young, so we often get treated with disrespect at upscale restaurants, but this was on another level. We were seated in a corner out of the way, and our waiter was condescending and outright rude. The flavors were definitely unique (nothing spectacular), but there weren't many gluten-free options, and I ended up having to amend most things I ordered. My favorite part was the cheese board at the end.
