  This place is an institution and for good reason. Their cheese plates are awesome, their wine is great and the food was mostly fantastic. So nice to come in the late afternoon and listen to some music. We had slightly less fun going at night but they just handle everything so well. I loved the warm olives but was less crazy about the steak and the spaghetti squash. The two potato dishes were both good but not superb. See captions on photos for more food reviews!

  This is such a unique place. You can buy your own bottle of wine when you walk in and drink that at your table. Very great atmosphere. The live music is on point. Monday nights are popular nights. If you want to sit at a table outside, arrive several hours early. The food is excellent. This place has a hipster feel. I can't wait to go back! This place has outdoor heaters as well.

  01/29/17: 4.0 out 5 - Coming from Portland, Oregon with close friends. Six of us total to be exact, and we're all "Foodies".
  
  Admittedly, we did not know what to really expect. Bacchanal was a suggestion made by a local. It definitely was a good place to be with close friends. I will say this though, the people in the bar were cool and super nice to us.
  
  So on to the food area. It's not much to look at, but the place does serve small plates and charcuterie. We definitely enjoyed the live music. The staff that helped us were nice and helpful.
  
  Definitely an experience worth trying it once and decide for yourself. Enjoy!

  Nice place to chill with friends and have a relaxing drink. The staff was great. Very helpful, not snooty. Place has a bit of a hipster vibe, but had people of all ages enjoying some delicious wine and listening to the live music. It was a rainy day, but we were able to take cover under the one outdoor covered table. They also had an indoor area you could go to if its rainy.
